SKU: N/A Category:

Pedilathus macrocarpus or “Lady slipper plant” is a succulent shrub from the Baja region of Mexico.  Pedilanthus will grow to three feet tall and have a spread of five feet.  Small red flowers emanating from the tips of the stems will develop in the summer.  The flowers attract hummingbirds.  This unusual plant makes a great landscape plant and looks very nice in container culture as well.  Pedilanthus will not take temperatures below the upper twenties and requires half to full day sun.  Plant in well drained soil and never overwater.  5gal plants are one foot tall and have at least six stems.
